Twice as many videos are watched today than in 2015. In response to the surge in consumption, we’ve strategically moved towards media. We initiate change and remove stigma by utilising influencers in our Ambassadors20 network, post lived experience long-form interviews and inspiring educational content.
20talk provides Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses to both workplaces and the public. MHFA is a two-day mental health training course that improves mental health literacy and helps teach people how to navigate a crisis situation.
Our meetings take place in a safe, caring and confidential way, whether the meetings are face-to-face, or online, known as Brothers in Unity groups. Our members meet weekly and follow the Group Method.
At each meeting, Brothers In Unity members will have opportunities to share any of their life challenges or issues, but this is your choice. Some first-time members may choose not to speak or share, and that’s okay.
There’s no pressure.
To enable people and communities to grow, recover and maintain good mental health.
Brothers In Unity is a registered Mens Shed and mental health awareness charity. ”Our purpose is to meet young people where they’re at, offer them an ear, and when applicable challenge them to grow.”
